The Jewish Women’s Career Network (JWCN), was founded in 1997. We began as the Jewish Women’s Mentoring Network, created in partnership with Combined Jewish Philanthropies to support Jewish women as they build and manage their careers and provide hands-on, short-term volunteer opportunity for busy working women. More than 200 mentoring matches have been made leading to new jobs, new insight and new friendships.
The goal of JWCN is to support and enhance career development for greater Boston Jewish women of all ages through programs, leadership development, networking and mentoring opportunities.
The JVS/CJP JWCN Advisory Committee consists of Jewish women professionals from various industries and in different stages in their careers. Members offer both their time and expertise to ensure that JWCN is providing quality programs to women in the greater Boston's Jewish community. Because of their commitment and dedication, JWCN has connected hundreds of women for networking, mentoring and professional development.
